FOSSALTA'S CARNIVAL - 28th Edition in 2008
On last Sunday of Carnival Period the traditional 'Fossalta's Carnival' takes usually place, with fancy-dress and allegorical float parade, as well as entertainment activities such as musicians' and street artists' performances on Vittoria square; Prize-giving to the nicest as well as most original and economical fancy dress.
ECOLOGICAL DAY
Every year in spring, an open-air Day is organized by Fossalta's Associations.
In particular the participants proceed with the Piave river bank cleaning, in order to safeguard the environment from the natural action of atmospherics agents and from man's carelessness as well.
FOSSALTA'S SUMMER
In the week-ends of June and July weekly appointments with music, theatre and folcloristic events on the town hall square (at the 'Casa Gioia' Hall, in the Oratory, in case of bad weather)
'OTTAVIO BOTTECCHIA'- CYCLE RACE - 74th Edition in 2008
Middle of July, usually on a Saturday, August festivities start with the traditional 'Ottavio Bottecchia' 'Golde Medal' Cycle Race, one of oldest cycle races in Veneto Region, for beginners Under 23 and Elite Category, which draws a big number of athletes and teams from different Italian as well as European regions and countries.
CELEBRATION OF STs ERMAGORA AND FORTUNATO - first Sunday of August
The celebration of the patrons provide various activities, events and initiatives such as follows : 'Miss Basso Piave' Beauty Contest, Cultural and Handicrafts Exhibitions, tournaments and competitions, a gastronomic stand and evocative Fireworks on the Piave River.
PEACE CELEBRATION
For the Inauguration Anniversary of the Baptistery, set on the bank of the Piave - Sacred River to the Country - every year takes place the 'Peace Day' celebration, each time based on particularly remarkable events, drawing the attention and participation of a big number of Civil, Military and Religious Authorities and of the 'Boys' of '99.
One of the climax moments of the Celebration is the Christening in the Baptistery of Italian and foreign children as symbol of peace and brotherhood among the peoples.

'Ragazzi del '99' ATHLETICS RACE - second Sunday of December
A 'Peace March' named 'Trofeo Ragazzi del '99' ('Boys' of '99 Trophy) takes place since some years on the second Sunday of December, on a few km long way along the Piave river.
