The Galleria Giorgio Franchetti at the Ca' D'Oro displays artworks recovered by the Cultural Heritage Safeguard Carabinieri Headqaurters, until 7 November.
On display are some 50 artworks of different ages and crafting which were sequestered for years from the Italian artistic heritage. The exhibitions is divided into three different sections, the first two devoted to important archaeological finds from clandestine excavations such as the so called 'marching Arttemis', recovered in Swizerland on 2001 and the Eufronios vase (515 b.c); the third section is dedicated to archival and book heritage
