Helicopters on the tarmac
News from Marco Polo Airport. Since 1 March, one of Italy's leading companies for helicopter passenger flights, Heliair Venice, has been operating out of Venice where one of the company's helicopters is permanently based and at the service of individuals and company enterprises. It offers a circular shuttle service linking Venice Airport to the Lido, Treviso, Padua and Vicenza.
After the first trial period, the service will provide regular scheduled flights. Moreover, charter flights can be requested to all destinations lying within a thousand kilometre range of Venice Airport.
As a helicopter flies at a speed of 250 kilometres per hour, the Venice Lido can be reached in 10 minutes and Cortina d'Ampezzo in just 25 minutes.

offer companies flights for topographic or aerial photogrammetric surveys, for aerial photography and filming aided by state-of-the-art image stabilizers, and supporting flights for sporting events such as rallies, cycling, and so forth.
All these services can by reserved directly, and purchased, at the Heliair desk in the airport's arrivals hall.
The novelty of the service lies in the fact of its being based right at the airport, handy to the wide network of national and international flight connections.
