THE COAST

Exploring frontiers: the marvels of the shoreline

The itinerary takes place along the shoreline to discover the small creatures who live hidden beneath the sand. It is a naturalistic exploration focused on the peculiar habitat between the submarine and the emersed environment of the sandy shoreline of Ca' Savio
Departing: from the parking area of Cà Savio
Route: on foot
Distance: 1-3 km.
Estimated time: half a day
Rest area: bar-restaurant near the beach
Suggested clothes: shoes suitable for walking on the sand, hat and water
The itinerary is not suited for disabled people
The coast: from the grey dunes to the fossil-dunes: pioneer plants, glacial reptiles and thermophile woods

The itinerary leads us to discover plants and small animals living between the shoreline and the sandy dunes of Cavallino.
