As with all fairs, people from all around gather for the sack races, the clay pot shots (eyes shut), and the tug of war. From that time on, there is hardy a week that passes without some cultural, gastronomic, society or popular event.
First there is the rowing race between the districts, then the 'Sagra del Tempeston' and the ' Suchetta' at Pra di Saccagnana (country fairs, the latter to celebrate the yellow plum).
Now open-air cinema, next the travelling show known as Cavallino Estate that presents theatre performances, cabaret or concerts in the various centres of the peninsular.
All these events are open to the public and fit in with those organised by the campsites. The programmes are crowded with so many events that there would not be a minute to spare if you went to all of them.
And in the evening, first in this one and then in that, there are firework displays.
